About CGB
Wuhan Changguang Battery Co., Ltd. (CGB), located in the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone, was established in 1993 with a registered capital of 6.28 million US dollars. As a Sino-foreign joint venture controlled by Wuhan Zhongyuan Electronics Group Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the central enterprise China Electronics Corporation, CGB shares the same origin with the state-owned 752 Factory.
CGB specializes in the research, development, production, and sales of sealed valve-regulated lead-acid batteries. Its product range includes six main series ranging from 2V to 12V, with capacities ranging from 0.5AH to 3000AH. These products are mainly used in UPS power systems, communication systems, large data center disaster recovery systems, power systems, security systems, electronic instruments, medical equipment, and electric vehicles.
Benefiting from over seventy years of technical accumulation from the state-owned 752 Factory, CGB ensures product quality stability through advanced equipment and high-quality management. Operating under a joint venture model guarantees business flexibility, making CGB a representative enterprise in the field of small and medium-sized sealed valve-regulated lead-acid batteries in China.
The 2V and 12V tubular gel batteries developed by CGB exhibit excellent electrochemical performance, significantly improving cycle life and performing well at low temperatures. They are the preferred energy storage batteries in new energy generation systems such as solar and wind power.
CGB branded batteries are recognized as famous products in Wuhan city. Currently, CGB has obtained certifications including UL, TLC, CE, VDS, ISO9001, and ISO14001. Through the implementation of TQM management and the Six Sigma principle internally, CGB has established a comprehensive quality control system.
In recent years, while focusing on product research and structural adjustment, CGB has also attached great importance to energy saving, consumption reduction, emission reduction, and pollution control, striving to become a green battery manufacturing enterprise.
Our vision is to establish CGB as a leading domestic and internationally recognized supplier of lead-acid batteries. Our mission is to provide products and services to create value for customers, provide a platform for employee development, and generate profits for shareholders. Our core values are mutual benefit for employees, customers, and shareholders.
CGB has always adhered to the principles of treating employees and customers well, operating legally, and fulfilling social responsibilities as stipulated by law, and is committed to sustainable development. In 1993, CGB was formally established in the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone, Hubei Province. It has since gone through a glorious development process.
